ADVISORS: Mark Millar

Mr. Millar brings over 20 years of supply chain and logistics experience including 15 years in the Asia Pacific region, where he has led business development initiatives across ten Asian countries. Within the greater China region, Mr. Millar has held executive positions at Platinum Logistix, ModusLink, Exel Contract Logistics (now DHL) and UPS Supply Chain Solutions.

In March 2009, Mr. Millar was named one of the "2009 Pros to Know" Supply Chain Thought Leaders published by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. Mr. Millar has previously been recognized as "Supply Chain Veteran” in the Who's Who of Supply Chain in Asia, "China Supply Chain 20: the Who, What and Why of China Supply Chain", "Pro's to Know in Fulfilment and Logistics", "Top 20 Power Players in Supply Chain Management in China" and “One of the most progressive people in World Logistics”. His UK company has also been recognized with the “Queen’s Award for Exports”.

Mr. Millar is the Asia Pacific Regional Leader for the Supply Chain and Logistics Group of Dubai, Vice Chair of the Logistics Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, President of Logistics & Supply Chain Management Society China Chapter, Chair of the Logistics Committee at the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and is an elected Council Member at the Hong Kong Logistics Association. He has previously served as the Honorary Chairman of the Global Supply Chain Council.

Mr. Millar achieved an MBA with Distinction from the University of the West (UWE) of England, holds a post graduate Diploma in Management Studies from UWE in Bristol and is a Graduate of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is currently the Managing Director of M POWER Associates Limited and resides in Hong Kong.

Widely acknowledged as an engaging and energetic speaker, Mark Millar has participated as Speaker, Chairman or Moderator at over 100 Logistics and Supply Chain conferences in 12 countries, where event organizers and participants consistently rate him as one of the top speakers. His thought-leadership supply chain articles are regularly featured in industry trade publications in China, Hong Kong, Dubai, Singapore, Lithuania, India and Vietnam.
