Inventory Management is responsible for inventory level monitoring, inventory handling outside of transportation, restocking and replenishment planning, and current inventory data visibility. Importantly, each of these responsibilities impact raw material, work-in-process, in-transit and finished goods inventory.

Any number of challenges can be created when inventory is not efficiently managed. This includes not knowing what levels of inventory exist and where the inventory is located. Other problems include over or under stocking materials based on the product category. In either case, increased costs are incurred through a lack of visible information and through misallocation of resources leading to lower service levels and/or reduced profit margins.

Managing your company's inventory is critical to operating effectively. Your company can dramatically increase its operational efficiencies by improving the methods it currently employs to monitor and manage inventory. Kong and Allan works with our clients to understand the current inventory management operations within a part or the entire supply chain. We will help the client build executable processes to increase data collection, monitoring and analysis. At the same time, Kong and Allan will strengthen procedural operations controlling Inventory Management.
